Srinagar, Dec 10: In a continued crackdown on narcotics networks, Srinagar Police on Wednesday attached a three-storeyed residential house and one kanal of land worth about ₹2 crore under provisions of the NDPS Act.

The property, located in Shaltang, is in possession of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat, father of notorious drug peddler Manzoor Ahmad Bhat, who is involved in FIR No. 98/2025 under Sections 8/22 and 29 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Parimpora.

Investigations revealed that the property had been acquired using proceeds generated through drug trafficking. Acting on these findings, the competent authority issued an attachment order under Section 68-F of the NDPS Act.
