Bhubaneswar: Cold wave conditions are likely to persist in Odisha till December 13 morning, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) informed on Wednesday.
Warning has been issued for districts of Sundargarh, Angul, Jharsuguda, Kendrapada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Jaipur, Khurda, Nabarangpur, Dhenkanal, Kalahandi, Boudh and Kandhamal till December 11 morning. Cold wave may continue to sweep isolated pockets in Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Angul and Dhenkanal districts during the subsequent 24 hours, and Sundargarh, Jharsuguda and Angul till December 13 morning. There is also a dense fog warning for Sundargarh, Kandhamal, Koraput, Kalahandi and Jharsuguda till December 12 morning. The night temperature is unlikely to witness any large change during the next 6-7 days, it added.
