Columbus Crew general manager Issa Tall has moved to distance star striker Wessam Abou Ali from a move to Celtic. The Palestine international has been linked with a reunion with Wilfried Nancy in Glasgow. ‌

The Scottish champions are in dire need of more firepower in the winter window. Brendan Rodgers consistently lamented the loss of firepower with the likes of Kyogo Furuhashi , Nicolas Kuhn and Adam Idah all departing - and Nancy is facing the same issue. ‌

Kelechi Iheanacho and Johnny Kenny are the only recognised forwards available for the Scottish champions with Callum Osmand sidelined through injury, while Daizen Maeda looks set to leave in January. ‌
