The mother of 22-year-old Rebecca Park told investigators she cut her daughter’s newborn baby from her womb to save the child’s life, according to court documents.

Cortney and her husband, Bradly Bartholomew, are facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder and felony murder, with mandatory life sentences if convicted.
