MUNCIE, IN — A Muncie woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after she allegedly fired gunshots at a car occupied by two people.

Cherish Nicole Stump, 35, was being held without bond in the Delaware County Jail.

Muncie police were called to the 3100 block of South Chippewa Lane on Monday, Dec. 8, when employees of a firm delivering groceries for Walmart reported they heard what sounded like "fireworks," then saw a woman with a gun.
