Head coach Matt White has been waiting quite awhile for a team like this.

With a roster filled with talented swimmers up and down the lineup, Tenafly girls swimming has the chance to make a serious run at the North 1, Group B sectional title.

Tenafly’s seniors have won back-to-back division titles and a Big North league title in 2024-2025. However, the one title that eluded this program is a sectional championship.

Sienna Plutzer and the rest of the senior class wants to change that.

And it starts with swimming fast in the regular season. Tenafly did just that against its Big North rival, defeating Demarest 120-45 on Tuesday at Hackensack. The Tigers won 10 out of the 11 events.
