OVI/Hit-skip: Mayfield Road

At 10:30 p.m. Dec. 3, police were called to 5644 Mayfield Road, in front of the Walgreens store, where a two-car crash had occurred.

The male driver of a GMC Acadia told officers that the other driver, who caused the crash, smelled as if he had alcohol on his breath, and that the other driver left the scene in his white Toyota vehicle.

Police stopped the suspect’s car at 1443 Richmond Road, in front of CVS/Pharmacy. The man, 47, of South Euclid, was found to be intoxicated.

Police arrested him for OVI and hit-skip. He refused to take a breath test.

Theft: Cedar Road

At 4:40 p.m. Dec. 6, loss prevention personnel at L.L. Bean, 25225 Cedar Road at Legacy Village, reported a theft that occurred on Nov. 29.
