Now, in one neighbourhood committee in China, employees apparently took things to a whole new level. A report from Wenzhou City in Zhejiang province has blown the lid off a bizarre workplace scheme that sounds like it belongs in a sitcom. Staff printed out their colleagues’ faces, turned them into masks and used them to fool the facial-recognition attendance system, The South China Morning Post reported.
How The Scheme Worked
A local, surnamed Li, alerted authorities after noticing something off about how some employees were clocking in. According to the report, the committee’s secretariat was allegedly in charge.
