The production trio behind Berlin-based producers Komplizen Film — Maren Ade, Jonas Dornbach, and Janine Jackowski — whose award-winning filmography includes such acclaimed arthouse features as Toni Erdmann , A Fantastic Woman , and Sentimental Value — will receive the Eurimages International Co-Production Award from European film subsidy group Eurimages and the European Film Academy at the 38th European Film Awards in January.

Co-founded by Ade and Jakowski in 1999, Komplizen produced Ade’s films as a director, starting with her 2003 debut The Forest for the Trees , and later the Oscar-nominated Toni Erdmann .

But the company has truly come into its own as an international co-producer, backing such projects as Cannes winner About Dry Grasses , Oscar-winner A Fant
