North East rail commuters were left pleasantly surprised when a TikTok personality handed out festive train sets.

Matt Streeton, known as 'Matt The Train Guy' to his TikTok audience and the voice behind ‘See it, say it, sorted’, stunned travellers at LNER’s Newcastle Station on December 8 with the gifts.

The giveaway was part of a campaign with Hornby, the iconic model railway brand, to spread some Christmas cheer.
