Mumbai, Dec 10: Residents in multiple parts of Mumbai are set to face a full-day water cut later this week, as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will undertake major pipeline connection work across the city. The shutdown will affect water supply in K/East, H/East and G/North wards, causing either a complete halt or reduced water pressure in several localities.
The water supply will remain suspended from 9 am on December 12 to 9 am on December 13, impacting thousands of households and commercial establishments. The BMC said that the shutdown is necessary to connect crucial water lines, including the Tansa West main, Vaitarna main, and other major pipelines in the G/North ward.
