NEW DELHI: The ministry of civil aviation has constituted an oversight team to monitor IndiGo’s operations amid large-scale disruptions reported across multiple airports. In an order dated December 10, 2025, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) announced that the move aims to address passenger inconvenience caused by flight delays and cancellations. The team comprises senior officials, including deputy and senior flight operations inspectors. Two members from the group will be stationed at IndiGo’s corporate office in Emaar Capital Tower 2, Gurgaon, on a daily basis. They will review key parameters such as total fleet, network details, number of pilots, crew availability, standby crew strength, split duties, training status, and all unplanned leave taken by crew.
