Newcastle United icon Rob Lee now finds himself fielding more enquiries about his son Elliot than his own playing days, courtesy of Wrexham 's meteoric rise.
Lee is widely regarded as one of the Premier League side's best-ever midfielders, having made 381 appearances for the club from 1992 to 2002. Brought in from Charlton Athletic for £700,000, he represented one of several stellar signings orchestrated by Kevin Keegan.
