BALLARI: A writ petition has been filed before the Dharwad bench of the Karnataka High Court alleging that actor Kireeti Reddy, who is the son of former minister and Gangavathi MLA G Janardhana Reddy, and his associates have grabbed 9 acres of land worth Rs 100 crore by creating fake documents.
The petitioner M Govardhan claims that Kiriti Reddy and others have registered the property in his name by forging documents. The High Court has issued a notice to the state government and directed the police to provide security to Govardhan, who fears for his life due to Kiriti Reddy’s influence. The court has also sought a report from the police and other authorities on the allegations.
