Between the start of the 2025 NFL season and Monday morning, 16 quarterbacks had tryouts for NFL roster spots. Of those 16, only nine have appeared in an NFL game. Only seven have thrown a pass in an NFL game. Only six have registered an NFL start, and only two have more than eight starts on their resumes.

Just one – 2022 third-round pick Desmond Ridder – has started the equivalent of an NFL season in his career.
