A boy who was targeted by a sexual predator in a park now 'makes excuses not to go out', a court has heard in a victim impact statement from his mother. Two nine-year-old boys were sexually assaulted at a Nottingham park Dawajan Ahmadzai.
The mothers of the boys described the devastating impact on their sons in statements read out at Nottingham Crown Court. One mum said her "once bubbly and outgoing child now makes excuses not to go out”.
The other mother told how being attacked at Melbourne Park in Aspley has left her young son “petrified that the man will come after him again and take him”.
