The University of Western Australia (UWA) has entered a pivotal partnership with India's IIM Mumbai and IIT/ISM Dhanbad, focusing on creating sustainable opportunities in the mining sector. The collaboration underscores logistics and sustainability as key areas, with Vice-Chancellor Professor Amit Chakma highlighting the introduction of micro-credential online courses.

"Our collaboration aims to support India's clean energy transition and strengthen supply chain resilience," Professor Chakma stated, emphasizing the introduction of about 10 initial courses and further joint development projects. UWA plans to launch new campuses in Mumbai and Chennai by 2026, focusing on business, IT, and technology.
