Indiana Hoosiers defensive lineman Stephen Daley (8) moves in on Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin (10) on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2025, during the Big Ten football championship at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

Indiana defensive lineman Stephen Daley has been a big part of the Hoosiers' success, with the senior who transferred from Kent State totaling 5.5 sacks and two forced fumbles this season.

But he appears to have suffered an injury after Indiana's Big Ten title game win over Ohio State. Video showed him jumping to celebrate with fans and coming down awkwardly. He was then seen coming off the field in a golf cart (see below).

What's the latest? Per the Indy Star: "His status moving forward is unclear" after his right leg was "immobilized" and given a brace.

So we may not know what the latest is for a little while. The Hoosiers got a bye as the top seed in the College Football Playoffs, so they'll play the winner of Alabama-Oklahoma on New Year's Day.

Stay tuned.

UPDATE: It's REALLY bad news:

Awful news.
