Joplin's annual Chilly 5k returns Thursday, Jan. 1, this time with a new route.
This year the race will be on Joplin's Tin Cup Trail, which was completed and opened over the summer. The point-to-point race will finish at the pavilion along Shoal Creek in Wildcat Park. The cost through Dec. 18 is $40 per person, after that it goes to $45. Runners can choose a no-swag option for $20. It is a chip-timed race. ×
