A new fashion retailer is coming to Chicago, marking the brand's first-ever store in Illinois.

Mango opened on the city's popular Mag Mile Wednesday, with the two-story store becoming the company's 60th location and a Chicago first.

The store was set to open at 11 a.m. at the corner of Michigan Avenue and Erie Street in what Mango said was a "major step in U.S. expansion."

The space features the clothing company's "signature 'New Med' store concept," which "blends Mediterranean warmth with Chicago’s distinctive architectural heritage."

“Reaching this milestone is an important achievement for the entire Mango team and reaffirms our deep commitment to our U.S. client,” Daniel López, Mango’s chief expansion & franchise officer, said in a statement.
