The 2026-27 school year will begin six days later than it usually would and still end before Memorial Day under a calendar approved Dec. 9 by the Poudre School District Board of Education.

Key parts of the recommended calendar and the reasoning behind the dates selected were discussed during a previous school board meeting and work session Nov. 18 and again before the vote was taken Dec. 9.
