Ludington's New Year's Eve Ball Drop , in its 16th year, is among the top spots in the 2025 USA TODAY's 10Best Readers' Choice rankings to celebrate the holiday.

Last year, the Ludington Ball Drop beat out Times Square in the 2024 USA TODAY's 10Best rankings. This year, Ludington placed fifth in the U.S.
