1PHILADELPHIA, PA — Two people were shot and killed Tuesday evening in what police believe was a robbery connected to the attempted sale of a Rolex watch in Germantown.

According to investigators, officers from the 39th District responded around 5:11 p.m. on December 9, 2025, to reports of shots fired in the 500 block of West Queen Lane.

When police arrived, they found 30-year-old Tyree Ware, of the unit block of Ashmead Place, lying on the roadway beside the open driver’s door of a 2016 silver Nissan Maxima. Ware had been shot multiple times. Officers rushed him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 5:34 p.m. A 9mm handgun was recovered next to his body.

A second victim, 16-year-old Quaneef Lee, of the 400 block of West Bringhurst Street, was found at the rear
