ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A Sandy Springs man has been arrested as part of an investigation into a drug trafficking organization, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said.

Travys Davy, 34, faces charges of racketeering, marijuana trafficking, possession of a Schedule IV drug with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a felon.

On Dec. 4, the GBI’s Appalachian Regional Drug Enforcement Office and police officers searched two properties in Atlanta and Sandy Springs. During the operation, they seized more than 400 pounds of suspected marijuana, six firearms, and six ounces of suspected alprazolam — most commonly known as Xanax.

Jail records show Davy was booked in Fulton County Jail on Dec. 5 and released the next day on a $15,000 bond.
