Major change coming to one of Michigan’s biggest convention centers

NOVI, MI - A major change is coming to one of Michigan’s biggest convention centers known for hosting some of the largest events in the state.

The Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi will have its name changed to the Vibe Credit Union Showplace beginning next year, according to a post from Vibe Credit Union on Facebook .

“This partnership is all about bringing even more energy, opportunity, and community connection to one of Michigan’s premier event destination,” a statement reads on Facebook from Vibe Credit Union.

The Suburban Collection Showplace is the largest privately-owned exposition, conference and banquet center in Michigan, according to WXYZ .

It opened in 2005 and was called the Rock Financial Showplace. It was renamed the Suburban Collection Showplace in 2010.
