SRINAGAR: A Chinese national who was under the scanner for visiting Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh without permission was sent back to New Delhi, police sources said Wednesday evening. The 29-year-old had been under questioning by police and intelligence agencies since Sunday at Humhama police post in central Kashmir ’s Budgam district for allegedly violating visa norms. His phone, seized for examination, was returned on Wednesday. The Chinese national arrived in New Delhi on Nov 19 on a tourist visa that permitted travel only to select Buddhist religious destinations, including Varanasi, Agra, Sarnath and Gaya.
