EUGENE, Ore. - A University of Oregon student faced charges in Lane County Circuit Court on Wednesday morning.

According to campus police, Thomas Zachary Davis, a member of Theta Chi fraternity, was caught allegedly dealing drugs on campus. Loss prevention staff at the Duck Store on East 13th Avenue noticed Davis and another student with packages of white powder on a dumpster in an alley. The powder was identified as cocaine, and Davis admitted he was delivering it to fraternity members at Rennie's Landing Bar, police said.

Davis, 20, could not enter the bar himself and was passing the drugs to a friend to take inside, according to authorities.

He was charged on Dec. 5 with delivery and unlawful possession of cocaine.
