REAL MADRID 1-2 MAN CITY: Pep Guardiola's side now seem destined for the knockout stages of the Champions League after coming from behind to win in Spain
Manchester City piled the pressure on Real Madrid boss Xabi Alonso as they staged an eye-catching comeback victory at the Bernabeu in the Champions League .
City looked to be on the way to a nightmare start after the hosts were handed an early penalty, only for VAR to intervene. But they could not be rescued midway through the first-half as Rodrygo gave the Spanish giants the lead with a lethal finish.
Defender Nico O'Reilly levelled matters for the Premier League side just before the break. The game was then turned on its head before half-time as Erling Haaland scored from the penalty spot following a VAR review.
