EVERETT — Everett Transit workers are set to partner with local volunteers as part of an annual tradition to provide food and gifts to families in need for the holidays.

Members of Everett Transit’s union, the Amalgamated Trasnit Union Local 883, will work with Volunteers of America Western Washington to collect food, toys and other essential items as part of the annual “Stuff a Bus” campaign, the city announced in a release Wednesday.

For three weekends in November and December, volunteers will collect donations outside of a Fred Meyer at 12906 Bothell-Everett highway in south Everett. Donations including toys, food, clothing and electronics will be accepted.
