ALLEN PARK -- It’s been five years since the Detroit Lions traded Matthew Stafford and a package of picks for quarterback Jared Goff.
Heck, it’s been so long that Goff has started more games in Detroit (78) than he did during his time in Los Angeles (69). Earlier this season, Goff said he’s “Certainly become a Lion” more in his career, and he knows when he looks back on his playing days down the line, “it’s going to be majority Lions” memories.
“Hopefully a lot more majority as we go on,” Goff said at the time. “But yeah, it’s been a fun journey here; it’s been fun to grow into and to be a part of this city. And to now, I guess flip the scale in that way is cool.”
