The Wolverines put associate coach Biff Poggi in charge as the team's interim coach.
This won't be the first time Poggi will be in charge of the Wolverines: He served as the team's coach for early-season games in 2025 against Central Michigan on Sept. 13 and Nebraska on Sept. 20.
