There is a giant parking lot that separates the road from the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, and for the first time since the music venue opened in 1990, if you want to park there, it’s going to cost you.
Live Nation, which operates the outdoor music theater once known as the World Music Theater and the Tweeter Center announced the change this week.
" During the off season, we are making upgrades to the venue and our operations just like we do every year. We look forward to welcoming fans for the 2026 summer concert season and showing them the major investments we are making in the venue experience .”
That experience that will now require a parking pass in addition to a ticket, and those parking passes will be on the pricey side, causing consternation among fans.
