Christ Church, Carpenter family settling in

BATAVIA — A relatively new church that began with one family has been growing a little over the last few weeks.

“We have had new visitors almost every week since we started. I think our first week, we had 15 people,” said Planting Pastor Chris Carpenter. “Some weeks, there are five or six of us, sometimes more. We’ve had lots of good conversations with people and lots of good engagement. It’s just getting the word out there at this point.”
