More than 200 Jewish early childhood educators from across Greater Cleveland gathered for Yom Iyyun, a community-wide day of learning dedicated to elevating practice, strengthening community and deepening professional excellence across the region’s Jewish early childhood programs on Nov. 4 at Congregation Mishkan Or in Beachwood.
Hosted by the Jewish Education Center of Cleveland, the program brought together educators representing eight programs, including community schools, day schools and congregational programs. The biennial learning event is designed to unify the field, celebrate the essential work of educators and provide high-quality professional development aligned with current research, real-world classroom needs and Jewish values, according to a news release.
