INDEPENDENCE, Va. (WDBJ) - A love for life and the entire world. It’s the quality Dawn Hall said made her fall in love with Jeremy Hall , a man from Elk Creek whose smile radiated beyond the small rural community.

“He was just a good person,” said Hall. “He just knew how to meet everybody where they were at and give everybody what they needed in the moment, whether that was a smile, whether that was just a pat on the back... he just always had that ability.”

They were married in the summer of 2024, living on a farm in Grayson County, and building a life Jeremy had always dreamed of after he started a new job at River North Correctional Center.
