Daisy Ridley has shared an update on her long-delayed return to Star Wars in the upcoming movie New Jedi Order . Announced back in 2023 and set 15 years after the events of the 2019 film The Rise of Skywalker , the new film will see Ridley reprise the role of Rey to train a new generation of Jedi.

Speaking about the highly-anticipated film and discussing its many delays, Ridley remained positive that the film would get made, promising fans it would be 'worth the wait'.

In an interview with IGN , Ridley was asked about Adam Driver's standalone Star Wars movie The Hunt for Ben Solo , after Driver made an announcement in October telling the Associated Press that the film had been scrapped.
