CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Maurice Hurst II is back in Cleveland.
The Browns made several roster moves on Wednesday, including signing DT Maurice Hurst II to the practice squad.
Hurst played in Cleveland in 2023-24, recording 39 tackles, two sacks, one fumble recovery and one interception in 21 games.
Hurst is in his eighth NFL season out of Michigan. He was originally a fifth-round pick by the Raiders in 2018.
The Browns also signed CB Tre Avery to the active roster from the practice squad.
In addition, the team signed T Jeremiah Byers off the Cardinals’ practice squad and RB Trayveon Williams off the Chargers’ practice squad.
Byers is a rookie out of Florida State. He was originally signed as an undrafted free agent by the Arizona Cardinals and spent time on their practice squad.
