Members of the New Cumberland Volunteer Fire Department, and other residents, watch Tuesday afternoon as crews clear debris from the scene of a multiple-structure fire at the intersection of Second Avenue and Lincoln Street in New Cumberland. Three houses were reported destroyed by the blaze, which began late Monday, with other nearby structures experiencing heat and smoke damage. An investigation is continuing into the fire, which saw response from departments throughout Hancock and Brooke counties, as well as Jefferson County and Columbiana County in Ohio, and several areas of Pennsylvania. — Craig Howell
