ASHBURN, Va. — Jayden Daniels did practice on Wednesday in a limited fashion, but head coach Dan Quinn says he won’t suit up and play Sunday in New York. Daniels re-aggravated his elbow injury in the game in Minnesota this past weekend. Luckily, Quinn says, no structural damage was done to his elbow, but it will be Marcus Mariota making his 7th start of the season.
Mariota has gone 1-5 as a starter this season and is looking for his first win under center since beating the Raiders in week three.
Quinn and the Commanders aren’t ready to shut Jayden Daniels down for the season just yet.
“We haven’t really gone down that road yet to decide. He’s out this week, and he’s working hard to get back, but as far as what decisions are ahead, we just haven’t gone down that road," said Quinn. "He’s
