FLORENCE- In 2024-25, Corneilous Williams set the North Alabama school record for field goal percentage (63.5). He can score inside with feathery touch or with dunks that electrify CB&S Bank Arena.
“A dunk, it lifts the whole building up,” Williams said. “I feel like bringing the team together and bringing the energy.”
His favorite dunk of his career came towards the end of last season’s ASUN semifinal win over Jacksonville.
“It felt like a dream, how loud it was,” Williams said.
Following a career-best 9.8 points per game, the former LSU Tiger could have looked elsewhere. So how did the Lions keep him in Florence? Much like when Williams gets fed inside the paint, UNA got an important assist.
