The boyfriend of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) says he’s “like the little divorced kid in the middle” amid her explosive falling out with President Donald Trump .

In an interview with The Washington Post, Brian Glenn — a chief White House correspondent for Real America’s Voice and friendly media figure of the president — said he had decided to lie low after Greene announced she would resign early from Congress.

“I didn’t want to make any awkward spaces,” Glenn said in comments released Wednesday. “So I said, ‘You know what? Let me just stay back this week.’”

Glenn, who called himself “much more base” than his counterparts in the press corps, also offered a blunt message for Trump as the breakup has continued to unfold online and in interviews.
