CHICOPEE, Mass. (WWLP)- More than 122 million Americans are expected to travel from December 20th to January 1st, marking a 2.2% increase over last year's record numbers.
Massachusetts eases process for building affordable accessory dwelling units
Last year, 119. 7 million Americans were traveling at least 50 miles from home over the 13-day year-end holiday. Mark Schieldrop with AAA Northeast has seen that trend progress since the pandemic.
AAA Northeast reports that most of these travelers will be driving, with approximately 109.5 million Americans taking to the roads. Domestic flights will see 8.03 million travelers, while 4.9 million people will opt for buses, trains, or cruises.
