PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KFSN) -- An outpour of support in Porterville on Wednesday, as flags flew and officers rendered a salute to fallen Parlier Police officer Jesus Dario Corona as he was laid to rest.
Outside the Parlier and Laton Lions Clubs left gift bags for guests, with messages remembering Officer Corona.
"It warms the heart seeing all these people, that he was loved and honored by so many people that they all took the time to honor him by showing up," said Parlier Lions Club member Joe Sanchez.
He told us it was time for them to do their part in serving the community that Officer Corona dedicated his life to.
With agencies from across the Valley standing by in support, family and friends said their final goodbyes to the fallen hero.
