Two men were arrested, 16 gambling machines were seized and $3,910 in cash was confiscated by Honolulu Police Department officers during a search of an illegal gambling den on Kawaiahao Street on Tuesday.
The gaming machines are worth about $135,000, according to HPD.
At 5 p.m. Tuesday, HPD’s Narcotics/Vice Division Gambling Detail officers with help from the District 1 Crime Reduction Unit, Forfeiture Detail, Airport Operations Group, and the Specialized Services Division, served a search warrant on an illegal game room located on Kawaiahao Street.
A 58-year-old Kaneohe woman and 29-year-old Aiea man were arrested on suspicion of promoting gambling in the second degree and possession of a gambling device.
