Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer has already been linked to the Michigan head coach opening just hours after Sherrone Moore was fired.

Michigan decided to fire Moore after concluding an investigation that found evidence of an inappropriate relationship between the two-year head coach and another staff member.

The firing came out of nowhere, with no reports or leaks coming from the school that this was happening. For Michigan's bowl game on Dec. 31, Biff Poggi will be the interim head coach against the Texas Longhorns for the Citrus Bowl.
