President of India Droupadi Murmu will embark on a two-day visit to Manipur on December 11 and 12, during which she will unveil and lay foundation stones for a series of major development initiatives across the state.
The President will arrive in Imphal on December 11, where she will receive a ceremonial guard of honour. She is scheduled to visit the historic Mapal Kangjeibung to witness a polo exhibition match—highlighting Manipur’s globally acclaimed polo heritage. In the evening, President Murmu will attend a civic reception hosted in her honour by the Government of Manipur at the City Convention Centre, where she will also formally inaugurate and launch several development projects.
