EUGENE, Ore. - A series of water main breaks have been causing concern for residents near East 30th Avenue and Willamette Street. Neighbors reported hearing light popping noises before a water main burst, with mud and water gushing out, leading to significant disruption.
Local crews responded quickly to the scene, arriving within half an hour to begin repairs.
"The crews, or the first crew arrived within a half hour," said Kiah Anderson, a neighbor. However, this marks the third incident this month, raising concerns over recurring pipeline issues.
Residents have noticed water spurting from the area prior to the burst.
