BELL COUNTY, Texas — The E.R. Carpenter Foundation awarded CASA of Bell and Coryell Counties a $25,000 grant to support advocacy for abused and neglected children throughout Bell and Coryell Counties.
Thomas Stinson, the company’s Division Manager in Temple, presented the grant to CASA Executive Director Kevin Kyle, Director of Volunteer Engagement Maddy Ramos, and Outreach Coordinator Corinne Donnelly.
According to a foundation statement, the funding will be used to recruit and train volunteer advocates who serve children in foster care.
The foundation believes increasing the number of volunteer advocates empowers CASA's mission to reach and support children in need across both counties.
