A man suffered life-threatening injuries after being ejected from the vehicle he was driving in Brockton, Massachusetts.
The crash happened near the intersection of North Cary Street and Provost Street, Brockton police said Wednesday night.

A Brockton police officer who was responding to an unrelated call saw the driver going at an extremely high speed and crashing, police said.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle and found in the woods nearby, police said. He was flown to a Boston hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Authorities said at least three utility poles were broken in the crash.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
