A high-level review meeting, focused on accelerating project implementation under the Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) department and ensuring visible improvements in urban infrastructure ahead of the upcoming monsoon season, was held under the chairmanship of H&UD Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra at Kharavela Bhavan here Wednesday.

The meeting focused on ‘Gangua Nala Improvement Project’, a comprehensive improvement of Nicco Park and its surrounding areas, along with ways to strengthen storm water management and addressing the long-standing urban drainage concerns. Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh, H&UD Principal Secretary Usha Padhee, BMC Commissioner Chanchal Rana and other senior officers of concerned departments attended the meeting.
